Getting ready for mobile
As many of you know, internet usage will be dominated by mobile devices within the next few years thanks to smart phones continuing to get smarter. Making a website mobile-ready is a huge pain and often requires companies to re-write a entirely different site for phone access. Some of you have probably noticed we haven't made too many changes in the last six months, but that is because we've been totally restructuring our site to be able to flex to the computer in your pocket.
We thank you for your patience and are excited to share these updates this approaching academic year.

P2Pspot supports "Grand Rapids for Google Fiber"
As you've probably already heard, Google is looking for a city to trial their new fiber network that is 100x faster than the typical internet speed. This being a HUGE opportunity for our city, we're doing our part to make sure Google knows how awesome Grand Rapids is.
Heck...if this went through we'd probably host our own servers. I can't even comprehend how fast 1GB/sec would be.

Take the BS out of your life.
...The BookStore that is. I can't explain how frustrating it is when the bookstore offers me $5.00 for a book that cost me more than $80.00 three months ago. P2Pspot continues to help college students skip this middleman. Help both yourself and your college peers by buying and selling your textbooks on P2Pspot, the only site that helps you trade books on-campus.

New Updates Approaching
Soon to be launched features include the ability to make offers on listings, over 6,000 more colleges, adding half.com results, a new local handoff option (eg. Starbucks, McDonalds, etc.) and other smaller improvements to make your experience even better.
We've been putting in some late nights in order to get these improvements online before you need to sell this semester's textbooks.
More updates soon to follow.
